As part of the 117th US Bahá’í National Convention taking place April 24-27, 2025 at the Bahá’í House of Worship in Wilmette, Illinois, the National Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá’ís of the United States invites the public to a special livestreamed event titled “A Common Endeavor”, airing this Saturday, April 26, at 5:00 p.m. EDT.

Presented by the nine members of the National Assembly, this hour-long broadcast will offer profound insights into pressing spiritual and social themes shaping the American nation and the world. Topics include:

  • The Oneness of Humanity and the urgent necessity of eliminating racism 
  • America’s unique spiritual destiny and its role in advancing global peace 
  • The empowerment of youth as leaders and catalysts for societal transformation 
  • The unifying power of religion as a force for harmony and collective progress 
  • Building inclusive communities that reflect justice, diversity, and mutual support 

Interwoven with reflections, sacred writings, prayers, and music, “A Common Endeavor” will also feature short videos to inspire, educate, and deepen understanding of the Bahá’í community’s approach to social transformation and spiritual development.

The presentation draws on themes from the Assembly’s September 30, 2024 letter to the American Bahá’í community, offering accessible language and perspectives intended to resonate with all who seek justice, unity, and spiritual purpose in our rapidly changing world.

This is a unique opportunity for families, friends, neighbors, and colleagues to join together in exploring hopeful and practical responses to the challenges of our time. Closed captioning will be available live in English, with subtitles in Persian and Spanish added shortly after.
